Want to impress your friends with the perfect playlist this summer?  Well here are a few must-have songs you should compile for a fun, funky cruise.

Of course, we have to start it off right with Work by Rihanna featuring Drake. Just as a heads-up, this is an explicit song, but it would be the perfect addition to any kind of playlist.  This fierce reggae-pop track is really unique because it can have a chill type of vibe or an upbeat, dancey type of feel.  It really depends on your mood.

Shall we keep it going with the Queen of Pop?  I think we shall.  Beyoncé is an A-List celeb so we have to have at least one of her songs on our playlist, right?  Try adding “Party” to your playlist, and I guarantee that you’ll have a good time.  This song also features J. Cole so whether you’re in the mood to sing or rap, it has both.

Now although this song was released four years ago, it will still make you feel so good. As soon as B.o.B’s song “So Good” was released, it automatically made the Billboard Hot 100.  Let’s bring some of the old school songs back!

I Like It Like That by Hot Chelle Rae and New Boyz is a year older than “So Good”, but this is another great summer song.  The lyrics specifically say “I like it like that, hey, windows down, chillin’ with the radio on.”  If that doesn’t sound like a summer track for the car, then what does?

And finally, the ultimate track for any and every good summer car playlist is “Turn Down For What” by DJ Snake & Lil Jon.  If you’re a fan of EDM, you’ve probably heard this song by now, and if not you should definitely give it a listen.  Rolling Stone reviewed it as “the year’s nutsiest party jam.”  Overall the song is meant for an audience who is up for a good time.

Below are 30 more song suggestions that will definitely keep you and your friends pumped up for wherever you go this summer: the beach, the mall, the movies, etc.
