Instead of trick or treating this year, you may choose to stay in. Here are some of my favorite childhood Halloween movies that are sure to bring you a feeling of nostalgia this fall.
“Halloweentown”
This series of movies is truly a childhood classic and will always hold a special place in my heart. I spent every Halloween watching this series with my siblings, and we still love to watch it together to this day. It’s perfect for those cold nights when you want to binge a few movies with friends or family.
“The Nightmare Before Christmas”
Although this is technically a Christmas movie, it still captures the Halloween spirit and the love everyone has for the holiday season. This Tim Burton classic takes me back to my childhood and the spookiness that accompanies the dark Halloween night.
“Twitches”
This action-packed movie truly shows the power of unity and family coming together to defeat a common enemy: the darkness. “Twitches” is an inspiring story of twins who were separated at birth coming together against all odds to triumph over the darkness that is threatening the world.
“Goosebumps”
You may remember this as a book from your elementary school days, but the movie version is just as good. This series will take you on an adventurous tale of deep and dark twists and turns that will send shivers up your spine just as it did the first time you read it.
