Essential Food Items to Survive Coronavirus

During these past six months of quarantine, there have been a few pantry items that have truly saved me when some of my favorite restaurants closed down. These are just a few of the foods that I always make sure to keep stocked to get me through.

  1. Frozen Pizza

My personal favorite frozen pizza brand is Tombstone, but anything you prefer works just as well. Frozen pizza is perfect for nights when you feel like you could eat a horse, but don’t feel like putting in the effort to make anything fancy.

2. Noodles


Any form of noodles are always great to have on hand. I like to keep the classic spaghetti, along with other variations like rice noodles if I feel like making something like pad thai. Noodles are great to keep stocked in your pantry because they stay good for a long time and you can get creative with what you make.

3. Protein


It’s always a good idea to keep your freezer stocked with things like chicken or beef in case you have to quarantine and aren’t able to go to the store. These items are so versatile, and odds are you’ll already have other ingredients to make something out of what you have in your freezer.

4. Frozen Meals

Lean Cuisine

Brands like Lean Cuisine make for great affordable frozen meals that can be made in minutes in the microwave. It’s great to stock up on these when you don’t have the time to get a whole dinner together and they have so many different options.
