- Walking on the Quad and seeing the Beautiful colors of Fall
Sometimes in the morning you really just do not want to go to class. One of the things that puts me in a better mood walking, is looking at all the beautiful colors and getting to see the vibrant fallen leaves. There’s just some days where I am just extra appreciative and thankful that I get to attend this school, being able to walk through the beautiful campus- makes me thankful to be an Illini!

2. Apple cider donuts
Repeat, Apple cider donuts!!!! I know when the season begins to transition into fall it’s also time to prepare for pumpkin patch trips with my friends and all of the other snacks that come with it. That being said my favorite is apple cider donuts; and make me more appreciative of the fall season. Fall allows me to enjoy the warm doughy delights- lightly coated in cinnamon sugar, and this truly does make me thankful for the fall season.

3. Halloween Movies
One of my favorite things to do during my free time in the fall is watching Halloween movies. I always turn to the classics like; the whole Halloweentown franchise, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Hocus Pocus, Harry Potter, and so many more! Fall makes me even or grateful for these because I know I can turn on the TV and instantly be put in a better mood

4. Thanksgiving break
Who wouldn’t be thankful for a week long break from school? I look forward to the fall knowing that I get to go home and finally relax with my family and dog, without having to worry about school and just getting to enjoy a big Thanksgiving dinner.

5. Comfy clothes
I am thankful for Fall because that’s when I get to pull out the big comfy clothes, and oversized sweaters. Comfort is very important to me, especially when I am going to class. Because of Fall the weather is ideal for leggings a big sweatshirt and some gym shoes or boots!
