My Five Favorite Makeup Products for Winter

By Indira Midha

For some reason, I find myself wearing more makeup in the winter than in any other season. I get really into the sharp contours, berry blushes, sparkly eyes, and dark lips. Here are five of my favorite products to use for my winter looks!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Powder shade “light to medium”)

This product has become the only thing I will use to contour or bronze my face. There are both powder and cream options available; I own the powder kit and absolutely love the blendability of the product on the skin.

2. Bang Beauty Blush (shade “Cheeky”)

This is my favorite blush to use because it provides the perfect natural amount of rosy color and golden shine.

3. Glossier Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick (shade “Zip”)

I love a good poppy-red lip, and this one is the perfect shade. The creamy yet perfectly pigmented consistency of this product keeps your lips soft and moisturized while sporting the perfect wash of festive color.

4. Colourpop Dream St. Shadow Palette

This is the palette for you if you enjoy pigmented, champagne-toned and bronze shadows. There is also a variety of great matte crease colors that help create the perfect shimmery and toasted eye look.

5. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This mascara is a staple for me year-round, but in the winter especially because I love having explosively full lashes no matter what liner look I am going for. In the winter I usually alternate between no liner, a smudged smoky shadow as liner, or a precise liquid cat eye, and this mascara perfectly complements any of these three options!
