I am half Spanish, and I spend every Christmas in Madrid with my family. As kids, my many cousins and I had so much fun caroling. We don’t carol anymore, but we definitely still jam out to our favorite Villancicos (Christmas carols) during the holidays. Here are my family’s favorites, some that have an English equivalent and others that only exist in Spanish.
Ande, Ande, Ande
Arre Borriquito
Ay Del Chiquirritin
Campana Sobre Campana
Catatumba
Hacia Belen va Una Burra
La Marimorena
Los Peces en el Rio (my personal favorite)
Rodolfo El Reno de la Nariz Roja
Ya Vienen Los Reyes Magos
