Fall is definitely my favorite season of the year. This is not only because the holiday season is approaching, but because fall is filled with beautiful colors! Whether it is for clothes or makeup, there are so many great colors that are perfect for fall. So let’s take a look at my favorite fall lip colors, as well as how they look on my lips! I hope you can use these or similar colors to feel beautiful every day this fall.
If you are into dirty orange lip colors, this lipstick is a must have for you. It is the Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in the shade Out Loud, and is one of the most popular shades in their fall collection. Dirty orange is the perfect color for fall, as it always reminds me of pumpkins! Plus, it fits with any skin color by really brightening up your face and making your skin look healthier.
On my lips now is the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte lipstick in the shade Cheerleader. It is described as a “delicately muted red” on the Sephora website, and is a red with a bit of a pink undertone. I think it is a very vibrant and energetic color. Just like its name, this is a color that reminds you of cheerleaders!
I love nude colors because I can wear them in any season, for any occasion. They also go with many different styles of makeup! One of my favorite nudes is the Addict Lacquer Stick from Dior, in the shade No. 620 or “Poisonous.” This is a beautiful chocolate milk-tea type of color that goes smoothly on your lips. You can wear it with a dramatic smoky eye, or you can also match it with soft, gentle makeup like I did. By the way, I also just found out this color perfectly matches my hair!
No. 407 Carmin Session from YSL’s Vinyl Cream Lip Stain collection is a very unique color. I would describe it as a smoky-rose mauve color, a mixture of red, brown and purple. It is not a vibrant color, but it still makes your makeup look very elegant. I think it is a great color to wear with sweaters and long coats.
Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick has always been one of my favorite lipstick collections. I am wearing the shade Double Dare, which is a gorgeous mauve pink. I always pick up this color whenever I am not sure what I want to wear. It makes you look gentle and romantic, and I think it would also be a great color for Valentine’s Day!
This last lipstick is a deep vampy red. It is called Rose Wood, which is No. 42 from the Sephora Cream Lip Stain collection. Fall and winter are definitely the perfect times to wear deep reds. This shade is red with a purple undertone, which will look great with sweaters. Besides, it really makes your teeth look white!
