Let’s talk about something important, shall we: BEAUTY PRODUCTS! Everyone needs to take the time to realize what they are putting on their skin or in their hair, so I’m going to fill you in on my favorite beauty products and why I love them so much.
HAIR PRODUCTS:

Anyone who has ever looked at me knows I have really curly hair. I like to use coconut products for my hair because it leaves an amazing smell. It also leaves my hair less frizzy and tangled than other products have used in the past. I don’t wash my hair every day, but when I do, I use Renpure Coconut Cream Conditioner. At first I didn’t care which conditioner I used until I realized that other conditioners leave my hair extremely tangled. I usually buy this product at Walgreens, but you can also purchase it at Target, Walmart, or online. I use Shea Moisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk as my styling product. I have tried so many styling products over the years, but this is the only one that leaves my hair soft and minimizes frizz. Some stores that sell it are Walgreens, Target, and Bed Bath & Beyond.
SCRUBS AND CLEANSERS:

One facial scrub I have stuck with for a while now is St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. This product really gets under the skin to clean your pores and prevent blemishes and blackheads. It also just feels really great to scrub on your skin; you can seriously feel the difference as you clean your face. Recently, I have also discovered Cetaphil and I really like their products. Their Gentle Skin Cleanser is really good for soothing your skin. I usually apply this cleanser before I get out of the shower and after using the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, because it leaves my skin feeling soft after the deep scrubbing.
Another scrub that I have recently fallen in love with is Soap & Glory’s Flake Away Body Scrub. I use this product on my legs, and I can honestly say they have never been more soft. If you apply this product to rough skin and massage it in a circular motion, it will leave your skin feeling incredibly smooth. I have not met one person who has tried a Soap & Glory product and didn’t love it. Their products can be expensive, but I definitely think they are worth the investment.
SPA PRODUCTS:

I don’t use too many spa products because I don’t like spending lots of money on them, but a few weeks ago, a friend let me borrow her Shea Moisture African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask and I loved it. Most masks harden after you keep them on for a while, then if you move your face too much they begin to crack. This mask, however, stays on your face without making you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes I forget that I still have it on, and the results are phenomenal.

I feel like I need to try that shea moisture mask – I’ve been seeing it quite a lot. But just not sure if I can get it where I live
