As the summer comes to a close, it’s important to stay MOTIVATED. One of the first steps to staying motivated and making your workout count is having a great playlist. The faster and more upbeat the song, the better. So, if you’re ready work it out nice and hard at the ARC, consider updating your playlist with these songs.
Anything, and I mean ANYTHING, by Beyoncé is perfect for your workout playlist. From “Baby Boy” and “Crazy in Love” to “Countdown” and “Ego,” you can always count on Queen B to make something that’ll make you move it.
Rihanna, on the other hand, isn’t as reliable as Beyoncé – but she’s on the come up. “Work,” one of her newer songs, is a classic record to get your body moving. Not only is it sensual, but the Caribbean vibe also really brings the song together.
If you’re not that into pop music, you can never go wrong with some hip-hop. Listening to Kanye’s Workout might be just what you need to get yourself in the right headspace to put in work. Whether you decide to bump some old school Kanye, like “Gold-digger,” or some of his newer music like “Fade,” this Chicago native knows how to pump up the people.
Reggae is another viable option. From the fast moving beats and the joyous sounds of the singer, reggae music will always make you want to dance.
Whether it is Beyoncé, Kanye, Rihanna or someone else, you should always listen to music that motivates and makes you want to move.
