If you are looking for a music festival to go to this summer with a one of a kind experience, I definitely suggest Country Thunder.  Country Thunder is a 4-day country music festival up in southern Wisconsin.  The cool thing about Country Thunder is not only the great lineup — which I will dive into in a bit — but the camping.  Yes, Country Thunder allows festivalgoers to keep the party going for a straight 4 days through.  Everyone becomes friends, and it is honestly a really cool experience to meet new people and make new memories with friends.

The other important reason to go is for the really good lineup this year.  On Thursday you have Chase Bryant and Chris Young.  Chris is well known for his songs “I’m Comin’ Over” and “Lonely Eyes.”  Friday gets even better with Parmalee and Florida Georgia Line.   Florida Georgia Line is going to have a really good set with songs like “Confession,” “Sun Daze” and their most famous song, “Cruise.”

Saturday is another stacked day with Grainger Smith (most well known songs include “Backroad Song” and “Remington”), Chris Janson (most known for “Buy Me a Boat” and “Power of Positive Drinkin’”), and Jake Owen (who is known for “Beachin’,” “Alone with You,” and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”).

Like most festivals, Country Thunder saves the best day for last with Thomas Rhett and Eric Church. I personally love Thomas Rhett and think his songs “Die a Happy Man,” “T-shirt,” and “Crash and Burn” are some of the greatest modern country has to offer. Following him on the main stage will be Eric Church who is well known for “Springsteen,” “Drink in My Hand,” “Like a Wreckingball,” and “Record of the Year.”

All in All, Country Thunder is pretty stacked this year, and this is a great year to try it out.  Even if you don’t like country music, the experience is once in a lifetime and everyone who goes to Country Thunder once comes back for more.
