Tis the season to be – frightened? The time has come to bring on the popcorn, candy and watch scary movies for hours on end. Some people have a list of movies that they watch every year, while others are too chicken to be spooked by some of these horrific films.

9. Stephen King’s It
Personally, this is one of the scariest movies that I have ever seen because it’s got a killer clown haunting, torturing and brutally murdering children, which makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up. This movie makes you want to check your closet, underneath your bed and double check your door’s lock before you go to bed.
8. Friday the 13th
Every camper’s worst nightmare! The legend has come alive in this thriller where infamous Jason Voorhees has risen from the dead to get revenge on his careless camp counselors. Not to mention with the help from his grief stricken mother.
7. The Hills Have Eyes
What happens when an atomic bomb is dropped in an area that people live in? Find out and prepare yourself to see things that will make you squirm.

Blood, guts and nudity, oh my! If you like that stuff, then this is for you. The gory film will make you scared to visit other countries and keep you on your guard when making new friends.
